Education is the ultimate escape route from poverty, yet in Kibera, many young girls drop out due to financial constraints, early marriages, or unsafe environments. Recognizing this gap, the Sisters of Notre Dame established a learning sanctuary that provides free tuition, uniform, meals, and mentorship to girls from vulnerable households.
Today, the school boasts a 95% transition rate to secondary school. "We don't just teach them mathematics; we teach them their value and build their confidence to face the world," notes Sister Grace.
