CNCS Launches First-of-its-Kind Media Training for 50 Religious Women

Fifty Catholic Sisters from 18 different congregations across Kenya gathered at the Karen Retreat Centre last month for a landmark media training organised by CNCS. The three-day intensive programme covered fundamentals of digital storytelling, mobile phone journalism, podcast production, and social media strategy.

"For too long, the incredible work of Sisters has gone untold," said Sr. Agnes Kamau, Communications Coordinator at CNCS. "This training is the beginning of a movement where Sisters become the primary authors of their own narrative."

Participants learned hands-on skills using equipment provided by CNCS, with each Sister producing a short documentary clip and a written story about her congregation's apostolate by the end of the bootcamp.
